The Lead Health Intervention Program (LHIP), administered as a public health service by Panhandle Health District, has served to minimize lead exposure since its creation in 1985. LHIP’s goal is to provide free resources, education, and free blood lead testing to anyone who lives, works, or recreates within the Bunker Hill Superfund Site. In addition, LHIP provides free in-home services and private in-home consultations to assess your home for lead hazards and find ways to reduce or eliminate those hazards. LHIP also offers educational opportunities for parents and children. For questions, please contact Panhandle Health District’s Kellogg Office at (208) 783-0707.
